I went here with 3 co-workers for lunch today. The place was completely empty inside and out. I ordered the "famous" fish sandwich platter which was advertised as 2 pieces of fried cod on a fresh bun, waffle fries, and coleslaw. Although the fish was good, it was really only 2 VERY SMALL pieces of fish on a huge hoagie roll doused in tartar sauce. I ended up cutting the sandwich in half and putting all the fish on the one half that I ate. The fries were good, and I really liked the coleslaw. Overall, my food tasted good. The other 3 people in my group ordered cheeseburgers and grilled cobia. The burgers came out first, then the cobia about 5 minutes later. After another 5 minutes, I finally got my food. Perhaps they forgot to make mine, but I basically sat and watched everyone else eat for 10 minutes. This was a bit surprising for me since there were no other customers. The other people in my group said they enjoyed their meals, but based on my experience, this won't be a regular place for me to eat.

My hubby and I had lunch here yesterday, loved it ! The fish platters that we had were cooked to perfection. Flaky and tasted amazing!

Great food and atmosphere. Loved the cole slaw that's not mayo based. My wife and I both enjoyed everything we ordered. We ate outdoors and there is one negative about that at this location, those loud, pesky black birds all around us. Otherwise a 5-star experience.

Both food and service was great. The burger was huge and tasty. The fish sandwich was great...made with fresh fish. Super friendly and helpful staff. Two for lunch on a weekday.

For a fast sit down meal it was really good. We stopped while traveling and decided to be adventurous and try this San Diego based restaurant. From the friendly greeter, the fast delivery of my chicken taco and hubby's chicken tenders with old bay covered waffle fries and the most AMAZING mayo free cole slaw, we are leaving to get back on the highway satisfied but not over stuffed. Wish they had a Tin Fish in Jax. And the bathrooms were clean and well stocked, too. We will add this to our places to stop when driving to Miami and driving home.

Great food and atmosphere in an upscale yet casual setting. We visited 3x in the week and a half while I was visiting my husband, who is working in the area. Our third visit, however, we were overcharged by $5 and didn't realize until we returned back to the hotel. $5 is just enough of a discrepancy to get me upset enough to email the company. I received a prompt apology but zero offer to remedy the situation, nor get my money back. Not pleased...this is absolutely not how to keep loyal customers. Luckily, there is another Tin Fish just minutes away in Port St Lucie with attentive customer care that truly stands behind their reputation-we will, in the future, visit anywhere but this location!

We were pleasantly surprised with the food. Really good flavor, really fresh. Just driving through and needed a place for lunch on the way to the Keys. We would definitely stop there again.

Outstanding. One of the best fish meals i have ever had. 6 in our group and everyone raved about the food.

My family and I have eaten at Tin Fish a few times. The first two times we enjoyed the meal and the price. The last time we went, we were shocked that the portions had shrunk by over half for the kid's meals and my husband's fish entrée. Although the guy that has generally taken our order, did give my husband more, when we questioned the size for the charge. The Coleslaw was a bit undesirable. We actually asked not to receive the applesauce that comes with the kid's meals and were served it anyway. If they shrunk the meals to save money one would think they would listen when someone ordered a meal without additional items. Just a thought... I usually only get a cod taco and it was the same as before, I add hot sauce to add to the lack of flavor. All of the food is a bit bland, but the staff has always been friendly and we enjoy the atmosphere. They use cheap wine but they charge a cheap price and give you full glasses so that is a plus. Stay away from the desserts. While they are tasty, I am assuming they come frozen. They are also small for the price. We will go back but I hope they fix the portion to price issues we experienced on our last visit. Otherwise the next time might be our last.

Not *quite* what we expected BUT it was still great. We wrongly assumed it was a standard sit-down restaurant but instead, you walk in and order at the counter and they give you a number and bring out your food when it's ready. The guy taking our order wasn't rude but wasn't over friendly either. However, the food made up for any small negative feelings I had. My husband chose the fish and chips and without exaggerating, it was probably the best I'd ever tasted. Many times the batter on the fish overpowers the fish itself. This batter was light and flavorful and totally complimented the white flaky fish. The "chips" were waffle fries with some delish seasoning sprinkled on them. I opted for the mahi mahi burrito. The only ingredients besides the mahi were some cabbage and cheese. It was wonderful. The cole slaw was awesome in that I don't care for mayo and this was made without it but it didn't lack flavor. My friend had the crab cakes....she said they were tasty and seemed to enjoy them. Everything was fresh and delicious and I am sure this will become one of our regular lunch/dinner spots while we're in the area for the next 4 months.

There's another review group for this restaurant that doesn't rate it as outstanding. I was very disappointed to see that two of the same restaurant were represented. Scroll. Couple pegs down and see for yourself the REAL reviews.

Delicious seafood from Salmon Caesar salad to Mahi tacos. You can't go wrong with anything you order. Service is fast and friendly. Great place if you need a quick delicious lunch or take your time and enjoy it all.

Truly a gem! Love the fish tacos, kaboom calamari, kaboom shrimp and the place is perfect for the area!

My husband and I split the Mahi Mahi burrito. It was delicious! The kids had s quesadilla and a cheeseburger, they both enjoyed their dinner. The fries were well seasoned, but not too spicy.

Seafood! My favorite food (along with Italian, Chinese, American and everything else, except Ethiopian). Tin Fish has wonderful seafood, lightly battered and cooked to perfection! The fish is flaky and seasoned well. The Tin Fish Platter comes with cod fillets, shrimp, scallops and calamari. Always too much to eat in one seating. Sides include waffle Fries and cole slaw. Now the cole slaw is unlike any I've ever had! It is made without mayonnaise. I believe they use a pickle juice; it's sweet (but not overly) with a hint of vinegar and just, it seems, a tad of something spicy. De-yummy! Service is always upbeat and friendly! Love that! And when one leaves a tip in the jar, a bell is rung, and in unison the staff bellows a big thank you. Near my house, this is my go to spot for seafood cravings! Five stars.

The corn chowder was great. The rest was only okay. The biggest turn off was that all of my meal was served in styrofoam containers with plastic cups and utensils. It's a cute place, with potential, but I'm not likely to return.

Love the food here. The staff is great minus the owner. She's a little cold and rude and its apparent from the first time you meet her. You'd like to give people the benefit of the doubt but when you see them in other places and they are still rude you come to realize that's how they are. We love going there but try to avoid her. We would probably go more often if she was more pleasant.

This is my favorite place to eat near my office. The food is consistently great. I was surprise when I walked in today and was told to sit rather than order at the counter like I have for several years now. I ordered a shrimp taco and a drink. The waiter asked me " just one shrimp taco, that's it" and I said yes. Next thing I know he brought me a shrimp taco plate. I said I only wanted the taco. He walked away. Later he came back picked up the rest of my meal because I only ate the taco. He wanted to know if anything was wrong with the food. I said that I only ordered the taco, nothing more. Well, I still had to pay for the rest. I really hope that management has not changed. Today was really weird and I didn't like feeling like I was being ripped off. Please don't change the service model that has worked so well since you opened in Tradition.

A horrible experience. The "Maryland" crab cakes were awful. They were mushy salt bombs. They messed up our order and brought the wrong entree. When the server returned it, he came back with the same wrong order and told us it was written down wrong, as if we were expected to take it. Receipts are not itemized, so we couldn't see what we paid for. About that time, a fight broke out in the kitchen, which is open to the dining room. A guy was yelling obscenities and berating a female employee, calling her awful names. The language was R rated and LOUD! After that outburst, we decided to get our money back and leave. When we went to the counter, the guy didn't even apologize. He just turned and yelled to the kitchen in frustration to cancel the order. The female server was apologetic and asked if we wanted our order boxed. After hearing the unprofessional tantrum in the kitchen, we didn't want anything that came out of there. My husband mentioned that the crab cakes weren't good, anyway, and tasted nothing like "Maryland" crab cakes. The guy behind the counter started talking very sarcastically, saying "Right. That's why we've won awards and people come from all over and love those crab cakes." There were three tables with people there. Must not be that great. One of the most shocking and terrible restaurant experiences of my life.

Food was very good. The problem was that my check was changed after I signed it. I gave a $6 tip on a 30.00 bill which I felt was good since the service was just okay. Well, my credit card company contacted me about being so "generous" with the $10 tip!! Come to find out, the tip was changed on the receipt after I signed it. Lesson learned -- I will always pay cash here. Can trust them with my credit card.

Four stars, because I love fish and seafood and these guys got it down right, fried or grilled. Dude they offer special local fish on the menu, like Cobia, triggerfish and so on and not to expensive too. A good ole american seafood joint. The interior is nice especially in this location. Great service, good parking. So if you are a Yelper traveler and passing by Port Saint Lucie and hungry, check out this place its right next to I-95 and not a hassle to get here. Check out my photo of the Cobia sandwich I devoured, so delicious.

Amazing! The best fish tacos in town. The blackened mahi tacos are my favorite, but every thing on the menu that I have tried is amazing. The food Always arrives quickly, and the staff is extremely friendly. Great spot for lunch, or a quick dinner. They have a band outside some nights, so great spot to hang with friends, enjoy some fish tacos, and a delicious craft beer. Great for a girls lunch, date night, or even dinner with the family. This place never disappoints. Delicious.

I had the Fish and Clam combo with a cup of New England Chowder, plus drink. The soup was very good. The meal itself was ok. The breading on the fish had little flavor. The coleslaw sucked. And nothing stood out about the clams. I was not a big fan of the taste of the tarter and cocktail sauce. They do give you quite a bit of food but the meal cost me $19.00 and when finished I felt that I have had the same meal at other bars and restaurants that tasted better for about the same price or less. Expected more from the meal from a Fresh Fish Good Food restaurant. . 2 1/2 stars

Really good food. Great service. The shrimp app was the best! Not too spicy - delish. The shrimp chowder was creamy and rich and full of tchotchkes (good stuff) and the cole slaw was exceptional to me - it was kinda sweet and sour. My coworker said the mahi fish taco was better than the lobster one. As far as my meal - I had the fried combo. It's my belief everything taste good fried - so it wasn't bad at all, just average. I would definitely go back though and try some other stuff of the menu.

Way over priced for what you get - fried seafood, fries and slaw. The food is decent but nothing to go out of your way for and there are much better seafood options in the region.

We do not go to the Tin Fish in Tradition anymore. The one on Port St. Lucie Blvd. at the corner of Airoso is waaaaaay better. Different owners. This has become the restaurant we return to regularly. The owners are there and very much involved. Debbie takes orders and waits tables. The food is delicious, fresh and portions are huge!! Prices are insanely reasonable too. I usually get the cod taco which is huge and it's under $4.00. If you like the Tin Fish in Tradition, you will LOVE this place. They also have a really good draft beer from upstate New York, Genesee. It's a buck every day. Crab cakes are huge, as you can see in my pics. Crispy on the outside, just right on the inside. The seasoned waffle fries are fried to perfection. Coleslaw is a tough one cause some people like it sweet some don't. I think it's the perfect blend, not too sweet. I think I heard Debbie say they make their own tarter sauce. My food pics are from the Tin Fish on the blvd. The portions in Tradition were never this large. The review about the expensive beer and hot dining room is a review of the Tin Fish in Tradition and not the one on PSL Blvd. The one on the Blvd. is AMAZING!

Great tap beer selection, owner friendly and staff right there to greet and help with the menu if you have never been there before. I have always ordered the Blackened Mahi Tacos, can't go wrong with that choice. Haven't tried many other menu items, but the shrimp and corn chowder is homemade and on my list to try. The other location on PSL Blvd is just as good.

The scallops were a bit pricey considering they are served on styrofoam with a plastic fork. Didn't like the cole slaw. Scallops had good texture & flavor. Great sweet potato fries! Wine, not great. Service after seating myself was excellent! Very attentive, so be sure to tip!

Menu is limited mostly fried items no fresh vegetable selections. Seems like a casual restaurant but more of a greasy spoon- everything is served on styrofoam plates with plastic forks- so not a dining experience

This review is strictly for their grilled fish tacos. Tastes on par with school lunch style food. Flour tortillas? No bueno. Bland shredded cheddar. Fish was unseasoned. Salsa was dripping water out of the taco. Get your mariscos elsewhere. I can't speak on the fried food. Maybe try their fish and chips?

Don't bother. Mediocre food. I had the Tin Fish Combo. I left the shrimp because they tasted like they were going bad. The rest of the plate was tasteless. My daughter got a fish taco plate. The taco was watery it was hard to eat and we had to put down 3 folded napkins to catch it on the plate. The servers were very young and inattentive. After the food was brought to the table no one came back ever.... Don't bother going. Your money is better spent at McDonald's (get it?)

Horrible over seasoned tiny portion of fish on cheap white flour bun. No real service, order at the counter and have the food thrown at you by some nose picking kid. Dirty with roaches inside too.
